blending images
1. I will be using these images:
2. Open the images onto a new canvas that will fit both pictures [adjust width and keep the same height].
3. Select the
lasso tool and set the
feather to 20px- you can adjust the feather if you want, the feather just makes it "fade" more or less.
4. Select the parts covering the lower picture.
5. Press
backspace or
delete on your keyboard, and you'll find that the part/s you selected fade.
NOTE:
You can also use the eraser if you're not familiar with the lasso tool.
1 & 2. Follow steps 1 & 2 from above.
3. Select the
eraser tool and adjust the
hardness to 0% and the size to 131 px.
4. Erase away the unwanted parts. (:
RESULT: it should look simialr to this.
